I attended a lecture by photographer and artist Brian Ulrich last night that took place inside Gallery 400 at UIC. Knowing very little about anything, I was surprised by how political it all was. His work is the kind that makes the most sense when you look at it all together as a project, instead of individual pieces. So never mind that thumbnail I posted - go take a look.
